We were able to go up to North Ogden and spend some time with Gus and Darlene. We even surprised them with a little cake to celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary that is coming up in August. Read all about it HERE.

Hosting an American Book Club

Mark is a part of a men’s book club – which is so unique and fun. This month he hosted and they read The Seven Miracles that Saved America in honor of America’s 250th Birthday. It was fun to put together!

Trek

Quality Time

While Jacob and Sarah were gone, Benjamin, Lydie, and I were able to have such great quality time together. Benjamin came up with quite the list to keep us busy. I love him.

Trying to Stay Cool

This summer has been brutally hot.

Washing Machine Down

We have had problems with our dishwasher on and off for probably three or four years. And I have to admit, I kind of want it to just die and then get the most basic – non-fussy washer I can find. But after a couple of days working on it, and trusty Amazon delivering a new part, Mark was able to get it working again. It goes on to live another day.

Pioneer Day

We love celebrating Pioneer Day. We had a great day, but I didn’t manage to take a single picture. But we are so grateful for our pioneer heritage.
