I really love spring planting. There is just something special about it. For YEARS, I have wanted to do a little herb garden and this year I finally did it! I am wondering if I should have gotten some herbs already started, but I went with seeds. Live and learn, right? We will see how they do! So grateful for these little eager helpers! And I want to keep their sweet little popsicle stick signs forever.
Every year we’ve been adding a little more and more to our little yard. This year, we decided to give a little more attention to our front yard. When they planted the front bushes, they put them too close together and they were struggling. So Mark spaced them out at the beginning of April, and then we got a good freeze and I think they struggled. We were able to save two of them, but the other three were gone. I didn’t love them, so I wasn’t too sad about it, but they were filling space which was nice. So we got three hydrangeas to replace them and then added two rhododendrons on the side. Crossing our fingers everything does well!
