{REVIEW} The Good and the Beautiful Vintage Drawing Levels 1 & 2

A new subject that we added this year was drawing. We are BIG art fans around here and so this was an easy subject to add in. The tricky part was keeping Jacob from doing the whole book in a week! There are five levels in the vintage drawing series from The Good and the Beautiful and they are incredible. They teach step-by-step and progressively get more and more complex.

Level One

This level has 60 different images that you learn how to draw. These are the simplest of drawings and a great place to start. Even if your child has experience drawing, this is a great level to begin. I drew alongside Jacob and it was fun and beneficial.

What I have loved is that Jacob has taken drawing a step further. After he completed drawing his picture he would go back and color and add a whole scene to go along with it. His creativity on some of them is incredible. I have loved watching him throughout this last year.

Level Two

Level Two is structured the same way, things just take a step up in complexity. This level has 57 images.

Final Thoughts

These drawing books are definitely worth it! They are an easy way to bring art into your day – and art brings JOY! You can find the vintage drawing series HERE.
