If I could freeze time with this little lady right now, I 100% would. She is an angel and we all truly cannot get enough of her.
Lydia did a little bit of growing this month. She is 15 pounds 13 ounces (29%) and is 26 inches in length (38%).
She is still in six month size clothes. She takes four six or seven-ounce bottles and continues to eat solids like a champ. She is also still doing two naps a day about two hours each. Her routine has been pretty consistent lately!
Lydia is an absolute gem about falling asleep. She falls asleep so quickly on her own and never makes a peep. Keeping asleep is still not her strong suit though. It is very normal for Mark or I to have to get up at night and give her her binkie or re wrap her in her swaddle.
I feel like this month Lydia is finally discovering her voice a little. She lets out little squeals and we are so excited to finally be hearing them.
My favorite “Lydia-ism” this month has to be her smacking lip kisses. She will smack her lips together whenever we go to give her kisses and it is the sweetest. We will take all of the smacking lip kisses we can get!
The biggest change in our little girl has been the addition of physical therapy to our life. This is a first for our family. Her pediatrician is a little concerned about her head shape and stability. She has made a lot of improvements in stability this month and is a lot better than she was but still needs some help. She is not close to sitting up independently at all and so we are working on helping her the best we can. There may be more intervention in the next month if more improvement aren’t made.
We love this little girl so much. She is an absolute joy to be around every moment of every day.
Happy Seven Months, baby girl.
