Lydia’s 3rd Month

Our little Lydie continues to amaze us with how absolutely wonderful she is. She is precious in every way and we cannot get enough of her.

After Lydia’s two-month doctor visit we had to start going in for weekly weigh-ins. Our goal was to beef this little one up! We have officially been taken off the list for weekly weigh-ins and we are all pretty happy about it!

Lydia now weighs 10 pounds 12 ounces (17%) and is measuring 22.4 inches for length (17%) – she is very proportional! 😉

She moved up to three month size clothes and gets a 3 – 4 ounce bottle six to seven times a day.

Lydia is starting to make the cutest little sounds. Oh my. LOVE. She definitely doesn’t want to talk though unless she has your undivided attention. She only “talks” to me when I am lying right next to her and have a little conversation with her.

Have I mentioned how in love I am with her smiles. Is there anything better? Maybe baby giggles {but we are still waiting for those!}. Lydia is so smiling and happy and we are so grateful for her.

Lydia is so close to sleeping through the night consistently. I’ve almost CALLED IT several times but then she will go back to waking up once a night for a couple days. I’M NOT COMPLAINING! She is an absolute gem. I have high hopes for this upcoming month though. We are thinking we may move her into Sarah’s room this next month…we shall see.

I always say this, but time is such a fascinating thing. I can’t believe Lydia has been with us for three months already and yet it’s hard to imagine what life was like before her. She fits oh so perfectly into our family and we love every bit of her. Happy three months, baby girl!
