Lydia’s 2nd Birthday

This sweet little angel is two years old! Time is just flying by and I cannot believe that it has been two years with the sweetest little one. Lydia fills our world with so much pure joy. Her spirit is so strong. I will never cease to be amazed by her. She gives us perspective. She stretches me in the best possible way. She encourages me to dig deeper each day to become better. While I am trying to help her reach her fullest potential, she is helping each of us to reach ours.

LYDIA’S FAVORITES

Books: Dear Zoo by Rod Campbell, Night-Night Little Pookie by Sandra Boynton, and Tell Me Something Happy Before I Go to Sleep by Debi Gliori

Activities: Playing with her garden toy, riding in her stroller {as long as there is no wind!}, having her feet tickled, and singing songs

Food: Jello with whipped cream mixed in

Song: I Am a Child of God

BIRTHDAY FESTIVITIES

We had so much fun celebrating this sweet girl. A couple weeks ago we decided to have a tea party theme because Sarah and Lydie like to have little tea parties in their room with their stuffies. Sarah and I had a blast planning everything out. Grandpa, Grandma, and Aunt Melina were able to come over and celebrate with us. We were so happy to have them with us.

We chatted, opened presents, ate lunch, and ended with cake for Lydia {she LOVED it!} and pie for the rest of us!

Sarah had a dance recital that night, so the next day we got to try out Lydia’s new POOL! The kiddos decided to give this to her for her birthday – because she LOVES her baths – but Lydia was not interested with the super cold hose water. We will have to fill it up in the morning and let it heat up throughout the day to get the little lady to try it again πŸ˜‰

Too many pictures? I don’t think I can ever get enough of this little sweetheart! πŸ’›πŸ’œπŸ’›
