Lydia’s 1st Month

This little lady has been with us one full month and I CANNOT believe it!

Lydia is slowly growing. She was our smallest baby and she is continuing the trend. We are in percentiles we have never seen before!

When Lydia was born she was 6 pounds 9 ounces (18%) and was 19 inches in length (33%). At one month she is at 7 pounds 5 ounces (17%) and is 20 inches in length (35%). She is still in newborn clothing and we are so in love with all of her tininess.

She takes about three naps a day. She is also our first baby that we have had to wake up during the night to feed! She gets up once at night to eat.

Lydia is just about the sweetest little thing. She is so content and we have hardly heard a peep out of her all month! She is so patient with her surroundings {cough cough…siblings} and we are so grateful for her relaxed attitude.

She is also already rolling over {WHAT?!!!}. Around ten days old she started rolling over and we cannot believe it. She is so strong. She can roll over from her tummy to her back in both directions. We are trying to encourage her to take her time becoming mobile 😉

It has been so much fun watching Jacob, Sarah, and Benjamin with her. They are all such good big brothers and big sister. It has been especially fun to watch Benjamin in his new role as big brother. At first he wasn’t too interested and we were okay with that. We loved that every time we would ask her to interact with her he would reply, “can’t talk to her!”. Luckily, he has moved on from that and thinks she is just oh so cute like the rest of us.

We are loving all of these snuggly days as we know they go by way too fast. We love you, sweet girl.
