⭐ Lydia Appreciation Post ⭐
This little bundle of sweetness. We cannot get enough of our girl. Here are some things that I am loving with Lydie right now.
Pretty regularly now, Lydie will wake up in the middle of the night and have a huge giggle fit. They are the best. After years of having inconsolable crying I will take ALL the nightly giggle fits! It is so funny to wake up in the middle of the night and hear her laughing. I so wish I knew what was going on in her little mind. Or maybe she is just having too many fun angel visits lately.
Lydie loves peas. In ways, Lydie is getting more and more pickier with her food. But the one food I know she will always eat is PEAS. It is funny because I always remember when I was living with my grandparents and my Grandpa Moldenhauer would tell me that peas were so bad he wouldn’t even feed them to pigs. Well, Grandpa, Lydie sure loves them!
We learned on our Mississippi trip that Lydie is a lover of the ocean. I honestly was not expecting it but she seemed to really enjoy being in the sand and having the waves come up on her.
She is a snuggler extraordinaire. She loves to snuggle and she has many willing companions pretty much all of the time.
Lydie draws people to her. The last several weeks we have had many strangers ask to approach Lydie. They get down and look her in the eye. Some don’t say anything. Some people will hold her hands. Some will talk to her. And every time I am so amazed by Lydie. She even brought a woman to happy tears a couple of weeks ago. Lydie is doing exactly what she was sent here to do. She brings everyone around her closer to Christ. And it is the most amazing thing to see.
We love you forever, sweet girl.
Watching people interact with Lydia has to be humbling.
Bless you and Mark and your entire family 🥰
Humbling is the perfect word to describe it. It’s amazing to watch.
