It may be two-thirds of the way through April – but I am really enjoying these posts! 😉 So here are our every day March moments.
Snuggles
Almost every day I find Ben snuggling with Lydie in the morning. And it’s my favorite.
Caterpillars
In March, Ben and Lydie learned about caterpillars in science. It was probably our favorite science lesson we’ve done this year.
A Crown
A crown for the princess.
Raspberry Popsicles
Lydie is working on learning her colors. We’ve been talking about the color RED so we made some raspberry popsicles.
Moldenhauer Memories
I have been working on a family history project for years now. I wish I had more time to work on it but I am trying to remember “times and seasons”. But I did make some good progress one Sunday!
Reading
Ben is continuing to do so well in his reading. I am so proud of how hard he has worked this year.
Steaming
We learned a lesson in Sarah’s room – cheaper curtains are cheaper for a reason. We finally got her some new curtains that are so much better and she steamed them to make them look so beautiful!
Wild Color
It had been awhile since we had been down to the Nature and Science Museum so we made a trip down to see their Wild Color exhibit. We loved it!
Poppy
Our sweet little Poppy. Read all about her HERE.
Leadership Conference
I was able to attend a leadership meeting with Elder Gary E. Stevenson, Elder Chi Hong Wong, Sister Tracy Y. Browning, and Elder Frederick K. Balli. It was an incredible experience to meet them and learn from them in such a small setting. It will be something I will never forget.
St. Patrick’s Day
We had a relaxed and wonderful St. Patrick’s Day.
Manti Temple Open House
Jacob, Sarah, and I went on a road trip to the Manti Temple Open House. It was such a sweet trip together with my parents. Read about our trip HERE.
Richfield & Burrville
We went on a family history adventure in Richfield and Burrville while we were over in Utah. It was such a tender thing to experience together.
First Day of Spring
Hello spring! We LOVED doing our winter bucket list (so hello new tradition!). We can’t wait for all of the adventures that await us this season.
Poetry
Sarah wrote a poem about her favorite animal – HORSES!
Australian Damper Bread
Jacob has been learning all about Australia this year in his language arts and he made some Australian Damper Bread. It didn’t quite turn out how we hoped but adding a little cooking to our learning is always fun!
Janet
Meet Janet. He spent the whole day walking around like this and calling us “love”.
The Alamo
March Puzzle ✔
Passover
We celebrated the Passover for the first time this year. It stretched my cooking skills as everything I made I was unfamiliar with – but it was a sweet night together as a family. Plus we spent the whole afternoon watching The Ten Commandments which we all LOVE.
Finishing Piano Level 1
Sarah finished her “level” in piano and was so excited to move into the next one!
✔ Dyeing Easter Eggs
We dyed our Easter eggs a little different this year and used RICE! We were a little unsure how/if it was going to work out – but we loved the results!
Easter
We had a beautiful Easter together as a family, celebrating our Savior, Jesus Christ.
