Our every day February moments ❤️
Swimming Lessons
The kiddos did swimming lessons again this month and they are doing so well! I am so proud of how much they have improved this year. They are becoming little fishes!

New {Old} Piano
We love our new piano. Read all about the story HERE.

Tonie Crisis
Several years ago Lydia got a Tonie. They are these wonderful little boxes – and you can purchase different figurines that go on the top and they play songs and audiobooks. It is BY FAR Lydie’s favorite toy. It’s great because it can entertain her with no help from anyone else. We play it morning, noon, and night. It is always with us!
One day, it just stopped. It wouldn’t charge anymore and we were not okay. Her Tonie was several years old and so we thought maybe we just needed a new one. And they just came out with a new model but I was reading horrible reviews about it. Luckily, we were able to find an original version on Amazon and we only had to do life a couple days without our Tonie. Crisis over! And Lydie was thrilled when it was back!

Brick Planet
We made our way back down to Denver to the Nature and Science Museum this month to visit their Brick Planet exhibit. This was such a hit with our LEGO loving kids. The artist has created so many sculptures out of LEGOs that go through various ecosystems. It was so fun. And now my kids want to know how you get to have his job! I was a little skeptical about whether or not it was just going to be a LEGO land kind of feel, but I actually thought it was such a wonderful combination of interesting LEGO pieces with a lot of learning as well.

Valentine’s Day
We had the most perfect Valentine’s Day. Read all about it HERE.

Noah’s Ark
I feel like I am finally getting into a good groove with my Sunday School class. The Old Testament has been so fun! I made this Noah’s ark activity and the kids had to write on planks things that the Prophets have encouraged and asked us to do to prepare for the future. The kids were really serious about it and it was such a neat spiritual experience.

FaceTime Calls
Every Sunday evening we call my parents and FaceTime. Lydie was so happy to see them!

Pneumonia & RSV
Then Lydie came down with pneumonia and RSV. Read all about that sad tale HERE.

15th Anniversary
15 YEARS! It has been the best. Read all about it HERE.

Mark’s Half-Birthday
My Mom had this fun idea this year to celebrate everyone’s half-birthday. The half-birthday boy or girl gets to pick the menu for dinner and a treat. Mark was first up this year! He picked tacos and mint chocolate chip ice cream. It will be such a fun way to connect even though we are far apart.
