Isaiah was a prophet in Jerusalem. He lived about 700 years before Jesus Christ was born. He was a witness of Jesus and he wrote down the things that he saw. He saw when Jesus was born. He was able to see Mary with the baby Jesus and he knew that Jesus was not like other babies. He knew that one day the baby Jesus would rule upon the earth.
In 2 Nephi 19:6 it says “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder; and his name shall be called, Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”
It makes me happy to hear about Jesus in the scriptures. I am excited for the day when Jesus will come again.
Sarah shared this sweet talk on Sunday to a group of young children at our Church. I am so proud of her and the testimony that she is gaining. When I asked her if she was nervous she said, “I am never nervous. I am just excited.”
