Our beautiful Sarah got to go inside the temple and do baptisms for the first time. It was the most perfect experience and I am so happy for her.
Sarah has been so excited for this moment. She has been preparing and anticipating this for years! When we entered the baptistry, Sarah had the whole place to herself! The temple workers were so sweet and excited for her. Once she got changed, a member of the temple presidency came down and spoke with her and she was just beaming. He was so sweet and it was a special moment.
Sarah commented on how beautiful everything was but especially about how quiet it was. Sarah had prepared some family names to take to the temple and she was very happy to be involved in that work. The temple workers asked her to do an extra name and she loved doing that as well.
I wasn’t able to go with Mark and Jacob the first time (since I was home with the other kids) so this felt extra special for me. I was just so proud and happy of our girl.
It was wonderful. Sarah cannot wait to go back! She already has another appointment for next week! I can’t wait for many more experiences together in the House of the Lord.
