January was such a special spiritual month for Jacob and Sarah. Sarah loves the temple and was so happy to go a couple times this last month. And Jacob loves to have a buddy to go with.
This month was special for Jacob though because on January 4, he was ordained a Teacher in the Aaronic Priesthood. I cannot tell you how proud I am of this young man. He is truly an amazing kid. I also can’t believe how quickly those two years as a Deacon went!
Another sweet thing that happened this month was that Jacob was called and set apart as the first counselor in his Teachers Quorum. He will do wonderful things and I am grateful for the many leadership experiences he has been given.
