St. Patrick’s Day

We love our holidays! St. Patrick’s Day was FULL. I got up early and got myself ready and made our traditional St. Patrick’s Day breakfast. Yummy!

Then Lydia and I drove down to Broomfield to have a swallow study done on Lydia. That was a whole thing and I will do a separate post for that.

After Lydia’s swallow study, we came back home and the kids did some St. Patrick’s crafts and we read some St. Patrick’s Day books and we did some fun learning through a short unit study for St. Patrick’s Day from the Mindful Heart.

The kids played outside – we are definitely getting excited for spring! – and I made dinner. St. Patrick’s Day just so happened to land on a Friday this year, which meant family movie night! It was Jacob’s turn and he picked Darby O’Gill and the Little People. We have watched this before and there is definitely a crazy part in it, but it’s good wholesome fun and we loved the time together.
