Faith, Life

Sarah’s Baptism

Sarah Esther, I cannot tell you how very proud of you I am. This was such a very special kind of day. Some days are more happy than others. Some days are more exciting than others. Some days are more important than others. But this was one of those really important, happy, exciting days all wrapped up into one. It was all of these special things because you chose to be baptized.

Watching your kids begin to make the first steps to return back to their Father in Heaven is the best thing. Sarah promised to be a disciple of Christ – to take His name upon herself. She promised to share her faith with those around her. And she promised to help others when they need it. To be a friend and to love others. And Sarah is already so very good at this. In fact, I think it is one of her spiritual gifts.

Sarah, Heavenly Father loves you so much and the choice you made, made Him so very happy. You are beginning a beautiful relationship with Him and I hope you work on it every day. Invite the Savior into your life, He wants to be involved in it all.

Thank you for sharing your light with all of us, sweet girl. You make the world and each of us better.

And thank you so much for all of the family that came to support our sweet girl – it meant so much to her 🤍

Weekend Fun

We were so grateful that Gus and Darlene, my parents, and my sister, Melina, were all able to come and celebrate this special moment in Sarah’s life. The kids rode bikes, we watched some BYU football, and ate a LOT of food! It was a great weekend for little sis.
