⭐ Sarah Appreciation Post ⭐
This little sweetheart. I went to the grocery store today with Sarah and she still reached for my hand as we walked through the parking lot. I love that. I love her so very much. She is growing and changing and she can feel it. I feel like that is what most of our conversations are about lately, just the two of us. Growing up comes with growing pains and she is beginning to feel some of those.
Sarah continues to be such a peacemaker. She is endlessly patient and seeing the good in others comes so naturally for her. She is not judgmental at all and is a beautiful example to me and to so many others.
I seem to have passed on my “planner” gene to Sarah. She asked for a planner at the beginning of the school year and almost every night I see her writing in it. It makes me smile as she likes to keep her life organized and make goals for herself.
Sarah loves dolls. I love the sweet innocence she has. She loves to play with her baby dolls (she calls it “good practice”) and loves doing the hair on Mary Ellen (her “older” doll). She is so sweet and always includes Lydie in her play.
Sarah has a growing desire to learn “life skills”. She wants to be self-reliant and it makes me smile to hear her say that and happy with her desire. This month she helped me make strawberry jam and she did so well. Later that night she said, “Another important life skill crossed off!” She loves the simple way of life and we are such kindred spirits with that.
I love this little sweetheart.
