Sarah Esther

Sarah is such a bright light in our family. I mean, just look at that face?! She is sweet, brave, resilient, kind, and has an awareness of others that is beautiful. A day spent with Sarah is bound to be an amazing day and we love our little girl so much.

A couple months ago, Sarah and I were having some mother-daughter time and I taught her how to braid using embroidery thread – one of my favorite pastimes when I was her age. It’s been so fun to see her LOVE it. She is always making bracelets for her friends and relatives and it is so sweet.

Sarah has also become really interested in cooking. She wants to help with every meal and is getting TRULY helpful! I can’t wait to have another person in the kitchen helping and making memories together. It is making me so excited for all of the years to come and many more memories in the kitchen with one another.

Sarah is an amazing friend. Our move has definitely been the hardest on her. She loves her little friends and will miss them. I understand her feelings and my heart hurts for her. I can tell she is not only going to miss her friends but is worried about starting over and having to make new friends. But she is always so quick to add that it will all work out, it will just take time. She is so wise beyond her years, and always has been, and I am so grateful for her outlook.

I love you, sweet Sarah. Forever and always.
