Our final stop of the day was to the San Antonio Texas Temple. We are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and love temples. But you do not need to be a member of the Church to enjoy the wonderful spirit of the temple grounds. And if you want a place to feel total peace – this is IT!
This temple is absolutely stunning. It was only about a mile away from where we were staying and was truly beautiful. Every window is stained glass and they are unbelievable. I loved them.
We ended the day with dinner at La Fogota. This was kind of poor planning on my part because I planned double Mexican food nights but the atmosphere was really different than what we had last night. This was definitely a little more formal with the kids {plus it happened to be Valentine’s Day so there were a lot of couples!} but I think I liked the food a little better here. Another wonderful day in Texas!
