New Year’s Eve was SUPER relaxed at the Berning house this year! We ate our New Year’s Eve feast and then we put on some dance music, with some horns, and had a PAR-TAY! The kids loved the horns but no one more than Lydia. She was laughing hysterically! We couldn’t stop because she was loving it so much! It was definitely the highlight of the whole night!
We then snuggled up and watched Encanto and then the kiddos went to bed. I thought Jacob and Sarah would stay up and play some games but they were ready to head to bed! They weren’t alone. Mark fell asleep shortly after and I rang in the new year on my own.
2021 was a really difficult year and I know we are not alone in that. Goodbye 2021 – HELLO 2022!
Would’ve loved to hear Lydie’s hysterical laughing. There is nothing better.
