This quote has been in the front of my mind the last several weeks. It is something I have found myself remembering when I wake up tired in the morning, when I kneel to pray at night (aware of all the things I could have done better), and many other times throughout the day. I have found it to be applicable in MANY aspects of my life, including motherhood. I am definitely not a perfect mother, and I so wish I could be better for my children some days, but one thing I can say is I DO keep trying. And I hope that my children see that. And I hope that effort every day is enough.
I am so grateful to be a mother to these sweet children. They are constantly teaching and molding me. And I am so grateful for my selfless, patient, angel mother, who has given me the best example of motherhood. I have been surrounded by wonderful women throughout my life and am so grateful.
So thank you to all women out there. Who get up and keep trying. From someone who has felt your efforts, thank you.
