Sarah and I had a girls weekend and went and visited my family in Utah to celebrate Megan and Linda and their sweet little girl that is about to join their family.
Sarah was so excited because we splurged and decided to fly out instead of drive. It was wonderful to have some one-on-one time with my girl. We loved all of the time we were able to spend with Gramps and Grammy exploring Salt Lake, shopping, and preparing for the baby shower.
Megan and Linda are expecting their little girl next month and we are so happy for them. It was fun to spend some quality time with my Aunt Shauna, Aunt Sara, and my cousin Maddie (we wish we could see them more often!). And Linda’s Mom, Cindy, was also able to join us which was great to reconnect with her. Sarah felt so grown up to be a part of the “ladies”.
After the shower, Gramps, Grammy, Melina, Megan, Linda, Sarah, and I went to see Wicked at the movie theaters (it was a first for Sarah and I) and we loved it. It was a great way to end the day!
Sarah and I are feeling grateful for the time we were able to spend with family and can’t wait for a new little one to join us.
