Our every day October moments π
The Power of Poison
Lydie had another appointment at the Children’s Hospital so we made our way to the Denver Nature and Science Museum afterwards. This was such a fun exhibit – and felt extra fun around Halloween!
It was fascinating to learn about poison in the natural world and also the many stories throughout time in both myth and history about poison.
General Conference
We had a wonderful General Conference weekend. Ben woke up with a fever and Mark had to work all weekend, so we kept things pretty relaxed. But I am grateful for a living Prophet and Apostles who lead and guide us.
I wrote about some thoughts that stood out to me from President Nelson’s message HERE.
Scary Larry
We got “Scary Larry”‘d and the kids thought it was so fun!
Temple with Friends
I was so grateful that I got to spend some time in the House of the Lord with friends this month.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone
Ben and I finished reading Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by J.K. Rowling. I love reading these books aloud to the kids, just one-on-one. I love their reactions and it makes it feel like the first time for me every time. To celebrate finishing, we watched the movie just the two of us.
