Once we got unloaded the fun CONTINUED! We have spent the last week trying to get settled into our new home. Things took a lot longer than I thought it would {isn’t that always the way?} but we are getting there! All of the boxes have now been unpacked or placed out of my sight in our unfinished basement for my personal sanity!
We cannot thank my parents enough for all of their help before, during, and after our move. They stayed an extra day after we unloaded the trucks to help with assembling and getting some of the big stuff put together. It was so nice to have their help.
We’ve also had a lot of fun exploring the area. It’s so busy around here with all of the construction. We are one of the firsts in our subdivision so it is a very active construction site from sunrise to sunset. The kids are loving all of the construction equipment and we are all enjoying the trails around. There is lots more to discover though!
So here are some tired faces. But they are happy! We are so excited to be here and for everything the future holds. And also for getting back to some normal 😉
Pretty, can’t wait to see more pictures or the house and family. I’m glad there are trails, how fun that will be to get out and use the pathways. Good to see pictures of everyone.
There is a river running pretty close to where we live and a trail that goes all along it! We are already pretty big fans!
