I love holidays – all of them, truly! However, I’ve always thought of myself as a little bit of a Halloween scrooge. Ever since I was little, Halloween was just never my thing. I don’t like dressing up and I am not really into candy – so for me, most of my life – Halloween just wasn’t my thing.
BUT – this year I decided that I really do enjoy all of the other things about Halloween – well, I like happy, uplifting, not-spooky, Halloween. This year, we had so much fun going to our ward trunk or treat, the pumpkin patch, making a “Halloween House” and other goodies, carving pumpkins, our Halloween Party at co-op, and snuggling at home watching Charlie Brown while passing out candy.
