I am sure I am not the only one, but ever since last Spring I have been thinking of this message shared by Elder Gary E. Stevenson. I loved adding more depth to our Easter season. Holy Week was beautiful.
We had so many wonderful conversations as we focused on our Savior.
On Thursday, we decided to celebrate Passover. This was a first for us. Weeks ago I dove into all sorts of research about Passover meal. We definitely did not do a traditional Passover meal – but we did our own take on it and it was a neat experience. We ended the night with watching The Ten Commandments.
Saturday we had an Easter-themed charcuterie board (the kiddos request them all the time now!) and dyed our Easter eggs. We dyed our eggs a new way – with rice! – and we loved how they turned out.
And then Sunday was perfect. I am so grateful for my Savior. He is my light and my strength.
Happy Easter from the Bernings!
What a beautiful tribute to our beloved Savior and friend. ❤️
