FAMILY FUN! This month we went down to Morrison to visit Dinosaur Ridge! This place is so cool. We went here a long time ago (click here to see when Jacob was just a wee little lad!) and it was just as fun as we remembered.
Jacob, Sarah, and I have been studying paleontology in science this autumn and so this was the perfect add on to our learning. This is the site where the Stegosaurus was DISCOVERED! But what makes this site amazing is that this is the number one track site in America! Easily my favorite part is this wall FULL of dinosaur and crocodile tracks. It is so cool to see the paths that they took. It really makes dinosaurs feel real.
Another thing I love about this is it is FREE and you just walk it! There are signs with information along the way, but you walk along a paved road along the ridge and learn. It was a win for us!
