Day Three for Camp de Vida was definitely more relaxed. For the first two days, we dedicated the whole day to camp, but we knew therapies and other appointments were happening the last two days.
Hike
While Lydie and I went to horse therapy, Mark and the bigs went on a morning hike. They hiked the “Devil’s Backbone” and had a good time! And even got to snack on their muffins they made the day before.

Afternoon Devotional
Once everyone made their way back home we had some lunch and then had our afternoon devotional. Today’s message was from the most recent General Conference by Elder Sandino Roman, titled Faith: A Bond of Trust and Loyalty. I love how his message focused on having faith in Christ, means having trust in Christ.
“Your loyalty, love, and trust in Christ will shape your character and identity after His. You will gain confidence and strength to overcome Satan’s attacks. And when you make mistakes, you will yearn for His forgiveness. Finally, your hope for the future will be bright. He will trust you with His power to accomplish anything He expects of you, even the power to return to His presence.”
Fainting and Shock
Mark taught us how to treat someone who has fainted or is in shock.
Heat Exhaustion and Heat Stroke
And then we ended with me teaching how to give first aid for heat emergencies, like heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
It was definitely a more laid back day but really great nonetheless!
