Benjamin appreciation post!

This little man. There is a whole lot of personality in this little body!

Ben continues to be the most physical human being I have ever been around. He needs to be physically active – this boy loves to use his body – and his love language is definitely physical touch. If I am sitting down, he is curled up on my lap. He loves to snuggle.

Benjamin is sensitive. He feels all of his emotions BIG. There are some very sweet things that come from this characteristic but we’ve also learned some tricky ones as well. He is not very good at being teased!

He is determined. When Ben sets his mind on something – he gives it everything he has. He started baseball this spring and he has taken his “training” very seriously. I don’t think anyone on his team has seen him smile yet (which is NOT like our Ben) but he definitely wants to do his best.

Sleep! Ben loves sleep. And this boy needs sleep. He works and plays hard during the day and he hits the bed hard. He sleeps almost a solid twelve hours at night and I have never seen anyone sleep so heavy.

Ben is friendly. Do you know who he probably talks with the most, beside our family? Our neighbor Bill and his dog, Honey. Ben loves him. He goes outside and sits at the corner where our fences meet and feeds Honey and talks with Bill. This boy needs a dog of his own so bad.

We love you so much, Ben. You make us laugh, you love big, and you fill our lives with joy. Keep being you, buddy.
